The Integra Group has concluded a long-term core sampling contract with ADCO (Abu Dhabi, UAE).

The cooperation of the Integra Group with ADNOC, ADCO (Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Petroleum Operations), a subsidiary of the largest national oil concern of the UAE, has a three-year history. Since 2014, Integra has successfully performed core sampling and directional drilling tests for the foreign partner. In competition with the world leaders of the oilfield services market, Integra won a new tender with a guaranteed volume of work for the next three years and its optional extension for two more years.

“This is the first long-term foreign project in the history of our company, the implementation of which will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the image of the Integra Group in international business circles,” said Evgeny Vlasovets, Vice-President for International Projects at the Integra Group. “At ADCO fields, we intend not only to drill and sample core, but to perform preparatory work for core research service, i.e. operations not typical in the Russian market.”

To implement the international project, the team of VNIIBT-Burovoy Instrument engineers (part of the Integra Group), experienced to work at foreign facilities and having received certified training at the specialized training center recommended by the customer, will soon leave for Abu Dhabi. The specialists were trained to work in fields with high hydrogen sulphide content and in high temperature conditions. In Abu Dhabi, there will be created a base to support the project and the company’s own core sampling equipment weighing more than three tons will be delivered there.

Currently, Integra is actively developing its foreign activities. The company is being prequalified in Oman, Saudi Arabia, Algeria and Kuwait. In the United Arab Emirates, in parallel with core sampling, the Group participates in the controlled directional drilling projects and plans to provide cementing services and coiled tubing, which have already successfully passed the audit of the management system in Zakum Development Company (ZADCO).
